This is for a 4 link setup only. A pair of frame brackets, 4 tubes, rod ends, and hardware are included. The rest of the axle conversion parts are sold separately.
We are moving towards having three different 4 link options for SD axle converted Fords which are:
Low lift 4 link that has the upper tubes formed in an "S" shape to mount beside the frame, accepts 0 to 2" SD lift springs, made with 1.75" OD tubes.High lift 4 link that has all 4 straigh tubes mounted under the truck, accepts 4 to 6" SD lift springs, made with 1.75" OD tubes.
Mega lift 4 link that has significantly larger tubes and is meant for 8.5" SD lift springs and usually paired with 38" to 40" tires, made with 2.0" OD tubes. Can be used with 6" lift springs too.
2wd OEM applications with standard height spring buckets- these buckets effectively add 3" to the lift height compared to any other application and that affects which 4 link you can use. A 6" SD lift spring is likely the most you can use with this 4 link and standard height buckets.
This is somewhat of a special order part and not stocked- feel free to message about lead time before ordering but please don't expect quick shipping.
This high lift 4 link assembly is used to help install a 2005+ Super Duty front axle under your 1967 to 1979 F series pickup and accomodate 8.5" lift SD coils like Skyjacker F585v, pictured on the orange and white truck (or in the case of a 2wd original truck with standard buckets, a 4" to 6" lift spring). This Mega Lift 4 link is significantly heavier duty- and just heavier- than our other 4 link kits. It consists of 1/4" steel frame mouned brackets, 0.283" wall 2.0" OD DOM tubes, Ballistic Fabrication 1.5" threaded brand rod ends, and hardware. This is an extremely heavy duty and well made kit. The tubes are significantly longer than 4 link sets.
This does NOT include the rest of the components necessary for the swap. For example, no spring buckets, track bar bracket, steering components, or other parts are included. The front end kits I offer have can be upgraded to this 4 link for an additional $2,100.00, saving a little money so if you are purchasing this with the rest of the parts shoot me a message and I can send an invoice with this discuont. This listing here is beneficial for customers who have already purchased my front end kit and want to get rid of radius arms, or for customers who want to make their own spring buckets and other parts.
These tubes are machined on either end- the rod end side has huge 1.50" threads, NOT welded on threaded ends, then the other end has the outside diameter cut down for the last .25" so that the "C" shape pieces perfectly locate and sit over the tubes. The tubes and "C" pieces get welded together, then a cone shape steel piece slides over top and is welded to the tube and "C" piece, greatly adding to it's strength. The rod ends are Ballistic Fabrication 3.0" wide ends which are ridiculous overkill. These costs about $200 per end and jam nut from Ballistic. These are well made greasable and serviceable rod ends.
Please know that going to this much lift adds a significant amount of time and cost to your project. You will likely need to go to highsteer, a custom track bar bracket from me, and weld on track bar bracket tabs on the axle. Here is a list of parts that the orange and white pictured truck has that are unique to this much lift:
